Hannah McVicar is an illustrator and surface pattern designer. She graduated from Falmouth College of Art with BA (hons) Illustration, in 2004. After graduation she spent two years in America working as a textile designer for Abercrombie and Fitch. She returned to England to pursue her career in illustration, working for a variety of clients including, The Times newspaper, Gardens Illustrated magazine and Jane Churchill. Her floral illustrations are influenced by her childhood, growing up on an organic herb farm and helping her parents at all the major RHS flower shows, including the Chelsea Flower show and Hampton Court Flower show. Her upbringing around plants and her passion for drawing became naturally entwined.
